ADVANCED RESEARCH & PUBLICATION TRAINING PROGRAMME

SEEKING A PATH TO GLOBAL RECOGNITION FOR YOUR RESEARCH?

Join our ground-breaking programme designed for early and mid-career researchers and practitioners in urban development, disaster management, and heritage sciences.

THE WHY. THE HOW. THE WHAT.

Our work at Silk Cities shows that often international early and mid-career researchers and practitioners require additional support to effectively communicate their original research and practical experience at international stage.

Our solution at Silk Cities builds on the idea to level up participants’ skills on strengthening their research skills and turning their research into publication at the international standards, and towards a final product of a scholarly peer-reviewed publication.

Our interactive training responds to different levels of support each participant may require. It is structured around two sets of workshops. One set of ‘Advanced Research Workshops’ as Package I aims to strengthen research skills; and another set of ‘Research Publication Workshops’ in Package II focus on writing and review skills for developing research into publication.

Designed for early and mid-career researchers and practitioners, these interactive online workshops, led by renowned academics and researchers, editors, and publishing industry experts, guide participants through the intricacies of publication standards. Researchers and practitioner can choose to register in one package of their choice or both packages. Further self-study material will be recommended in each package. The number of participants in each cohort is limited to ensure greater interactions and richer discussions. Participants will receive the Silk Cities Certificate of Participation upon the completion of each set of the training.
